No matter what, it starts with you.
But I’ll guide you through the process.
Coaching for executives, alignment workshops, and team interventions.
No matter what you need, know that it all starts with wanting to make a change and doing the work necessary. So, what does that look like for you? I’ll walk you through each service.
The 1:1 Coaching/Advisory process is designed to help you identify what’s working, what’s not, and achieve your goals. We’ll create a customized plan that aligns with your strengths and development areas to help you make a greater impact with less stress. Over the span of multiple months (6-month minimum), we’ll meet 3-4 times every month. Here’s what we’ll cover:
Executive Coaching & Advisory
-
We’ll get to the root of what makes you, you. While every client is different, this often looks like:
Unearthing your strengths. The key to tapping into your potential.
Identifying your core values. The parts of your life that are most important to you.
Shining a light on your blind spots. You’ll know your areas of opportunity.
Finding out the limiting beliefs that are getting in your way.
-
We set goals so you can achieve what aligns with what you truly want your career and life to look like.
Then, we’ll customize your plan so you can use everything we’ve established so far to your advantage.
-
As we dig deeper into the inner work, your goals may change. So, we’ll continue to meet 3-4 times per month to see what’s working for you and what’s not, and evolve your plan accordingly. We’ll discuss your wins, potential challenges, and where you can improve.
Think of me as your accountability partner. I’ll continue gently pushing you toward your goals until you create the career and life you want and deserve.
Leadership Team Workshops
Your team has the talent. They are just not working together the way you need them to, and you do not have the time or the distance to fix it from the inside. That is where I come in, as a certified facilitator, executive coach, and former C-suite executive.
Every workshop is customized to your team and what is actually getting in the way. I draw on Working Genius, The Five Behaviors, and Gallup Strengths, choosing what fits rather than running a standard agenda.
Some of the most valuable moments are not on the agenda. When something real surfaces in the room, we go there, and I coach the team through it live.
What to Expect
-
We start with a conversation about what is going on. What prompted the call, what you have already tried, what you want to be different. I need enough context to know whether a workshop is the right answer, and I will tell you if it is not.
-
Item descripYour team completes assessments ahead of the session. Depending on what we are solving for, that may be Working Genius, The Five Behaviors, Gallup Strengths, or a combination. I analyze the results before we meet, down to the individual statement level, so the session is grounded in your team's data rather than a generic model.
-
When it helps, I talk with team members one on one before the workshop. People will tell me things they will not say in a room, and knowing that in advance may change how I design the day.
-
Before the workshop, we meet privately. I share what I am seeing in the data and the conversations, including anything that concerns me. Sometimes that changes the design of the session. Sometimes it is coaching for you on how to show up in the room. This conversation may include the CHRO, depending on the engagement.
-
A working session, not a lecture. Your team learns the model, sees their own results, discusses what the data says about how they operate, and works through the issues that surface. Activities are selected to match where this team is, so what they learn sticks.
When something surfaces that the team has been avoiding, I help them have that conversation and show them what healthy conflict actually looks like. Teams learn more from doing it once, with support, than from any slide.
Everyone leaves with commitments they have made out loud to each other.
-
Your team keeps access to an app built for what comes next. Everyone can see how they work, how they work with any specific teammate, and how any team or project group comes together. Build a new view when you reorganize or hire. Pull it up before a difficult conversation. The insight stays available when your team needs it, not just on the day of the session.
Where the work needs to continue, I coach individual leaders or come back in for follow-on sessions.
Team Interventions
Having contentious executive relationships without appropriately addressing them is unhealthy — for each leader, their teams, and the organization as a whole. We’ll work together to help you achieve a win/win strategy resulting in improved employee morale, healthier communication, and greater company results.
-
I’ll meet with each leader separately - to help them gain clarity about their communication style, strengths and blind spots.
The use of objective assessments, coupled with bold coaching conversations, will help provide insights that move the relationships forward more productively and efficiently.
-
With clear parameters in place, we’ll all come together to discuss the matter at hand. This isn’t a debate about who’s right or wrong. It’s the first step toward sharing each person’s perspective in a safe space and finding a practical solution.
For some teams, this is the last phase of the process, ending in a clear agreement and path forward. However, if the relationship tension has existed for a long period and/or more time is needed, phase 3 may be required.
-
After the mediated conversation, if a resolution wasn’t accomplished, I’ll meet with the leaders separately to listen to each point of view and propose solutions until we come up with a reasonable solution.
I will work with you to continue to bridge the conversation gap until a successful solution is crafted in writing. The length of time to achieve resolution varies by leadership team, depending on a host of factors.
